Mayfield - Classic Apartment

Comfortable and relaxing stay in a beautiful flat Positive: Everything was perfect.

Loved it. Perfect location. Positive: Lots of little extras were provided. Comfy beds. Nice seating and dining areas. Super huge shower. Very quiet street but also very close to walk to Asda, the bus station and also the train station. Very pleasant walk to Valley Gardens and also RHS Harlow Carr. Also walked from Harrogate on the Bilton Lane & Beryl Burton way to Knaresborough, plus the Nidderdale Way to Ripley Castle. Nice easy safe routes. Negative: Couldn’t work the telly. Instructions by QR code were in a very nicely printed brochure but not for the tv provided. We just wanted the basic channels. Curtain pole came out of place in the front bedroom as it doesn’t have a second finial. Managed to lodge it back but didn’t move the curtain again. Could do with some oven gloves.

Central location Positive: Excellent location. High standard of decor and cleanliness. Negative: Second bedroom was small with no storage, and lounge area very tight for 4 adults. This apartment would probably be better for 2 adults and 2 children.

Superb accommodation Positive: Great little touches, very clean

A perfect 3 night stay in Harrogate. Positive: The host provided lots of things which made our stay comfortable.-There was a basket of comfort items like snacks and bottled water, little toothbrushes and toothpaste, cleaning stuff in the kitchen, tea, coffee, sugar, nice coffee pods and plenty of clean fluffy towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were very comfy and the apartment was spotless. Overall we were very comfortable and actually stayed in the first night and cooked ourselves a little meal as it was so cosy and the weather wasn't good. I found the communication with the host was excellent, they were very responsive to any messages. The location was excellent being a short walk from the railway station and the town centre and it felt a safe neighbourhood. Negative: There was nothing we didn't like! Just a really small thing, we found the TV channels kept breaking up during viewing. There were no BBC channels on the tv menu that we could see and as avid strictly fans we couldn't miss it on Sat night so we used the i-player app to watch BBC and You Tube for viewing other content so all was good. I brought my own tablet too which worked well on the apartments free Wifi.
